Founded in 1998, OhioWoodlandAcres Miniature Horse Farm (OWA) began with a love for small horses and a dream. That year we welcomed our very first American miniature horses - Angel, a tiny black pinto, and Prince, a charming brown pinto. Believing these two would be our only horses, we built a small pole barn to house them.

Believing these two would be our only horses, we built a small pole barn to house them.
Within five years we added two more mares to our herd. Curious and excited by the idea of welcoming a foal, we soon found ourselves with two adorable babies – and completely hooked.
In 2008, our growing herd prompted a major barn expansion. We extended the first floor and added a full second story to provide more space for hay and accommodate our ever-growing miniature horse family.
A significant milestone came in 2016. In the spring, we welcomed our first long-awaited Falabella stallions, "Pharaoh" and "Foolish Ple

A significant milestone came in 2016. In the spring, we welcomed our first long-awaited Falabella stallions, "Pharaoh" and "Foolish Pleasure". That fall, two outstanding Falabella fillies joined the farm.
All our miniatures are triple registered as well as DNA tested. We pour our hearts into their care and are proud to continue breeding and raising these extraordinary miniatures. At OWA, each horse is part of the family-and our story is still being written, one tiny hoof print at a time.
